EmpowerHER Collective September Networking Event

Regional Development Australia Greater Whitsundays recently had the pleasure of hosting the second networking session for the EmpowerHER Collective.

There were many familiar faces in the crowd that we recognised from the launch of this initiative, with almost 60 people in attendance.

This important collaboration with the Just Saying Project, Kickass Women and Women in Manufacturing aims to facilitate a safe environment for women in our region to network, build relationships, and advance their personal and professional development.

Rowena Hardy from Minds Aligned delivered a presentation on confidence and self-worth, and Megan Dillon from Mackay Lunchtime Toastmasters Club spoke to us about the new lunchtime Toastmasters starting in our region.

RDA GW would like to thank everyone who attended the event and for making it the huge success that it was. We are glad to help foster new initiatives like the EmpowerHER Collective in our region and look forward to running more of them in the future.
